Yesterday I covered two local headline stories for BBC Points West.
Firstly I was filming/editing in Swindon and a story about 31 year old man who opened fire on Wiltshire Police after a short standoff. We interviewed an eyewitness and filmed at the scene. A short edit for lunch later and I was on my way.
I then moved to Calne to film content for a live broadcast on the Ellie Gould murder and following this met the Bristol Satellite truck (UKI 1569) and prepped for a live broadcast outside Ellie's former school.
