I started experimenting with cameras when I was 14 and had directed my first professional short film by the age of 16, I was hooked.
I've been working creatively since the age of 12 and professionally since 1997.
After setting up a profitable theatre company whilst still at school I became a member of the National Youth Theatre and worked in
stage management in the West End before studying theatre at college. I trained in technical theatre and television at
Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and then moved straight into the industry working on ‘Casualty’
and other early ‘fly on the wall’ documentaries in the camera department.
Since 1997 I have worked as a Cameraman on a variety of corporate and television programmes in the UK and around Europe including national and regional news, breakfast and daytime TV. I've directed many multi-camera live broadcasts.
My attention to detail, broad knowledge and reliability are the attributes most often mentioned in client feedback.
