Swindon Local Elections 2021 - BBC Coverage

Yesterday I was covering the local elections from the wonderful STEAM Museum in Swindon for BBC News.


I was working with BBC Politics Reporter for Swindon & Wiltshire Dan O'Brien. He was covering both web, radio and TV and did a sterling job.


I started at 9am and ended around 6pm. Due to COVID we were forced to stay on a viewing balcony making most of the shots tricky on the end of the lens. They did allow me down onto the floor for 10 minutes to get some counting shots.


Dan and I conducted around seven key interviews and regularly sent content back to BBC Bristol.
