Today was spent being taken around the second largest HS2 (High Speed Two) distribution site in the South.
I was filming for BBC South Today in Calvert, Buckinghamshire with Journalist Matt Graveling.
HS2 offered the BBC exclusive access to the site to film a story about how they bring in aggregate to the site by rail. Each train saves over 70 lorries on the road.
Logistically the shoot was fairly hard as we were covered in PPE, it was raining for most of the day and muddy and we were only allowed to film in a very specific place. Despite this I managed to get a few moving shots and a nice long pull back.
I had lots of downloaded content to bring into the edit and we edited half the project on site in my van before moving off site to complete the edit.
