This week I filmed Tarantulas for the first time...
I am not a massive spider fan but when the ITV booker called me and said "are you OK with Spiders?" I just said yes, wanting the work. Two days later I was staring at a massive Tarantula in its home with nothing between me and her.
The shoot was at Paradise Wildlife Park in Hertfordshire with ITV's Lauren Hall. Due to the tiny environment they live in I had to use my AX53 camcorder to film in their enclosures whilst the trusty PMW-500 was used for interviews and the other shots.
