I recently broke my long standing mic boom pole. The old one cost a good few hundred and was bought maybe ten years ago.
Due to covid restrictions and news camera operators needing a boom pole for nearly all shoots I knew I had to replace it quickly.
Like most things I turned to Amazon but was not that hopefully of finding something well made and fit for purpose.
Andoer supply this lightweight boom pole in two versions, aluminium and carbon fibre. I bought the aluminium one for around £40.
