I own a small camera jib.
The Libec 30 is used widely in broadcast and corporate video production as its very heavy duty and will hold a full size broadcast camera.
It is fairly compact as you can see below in its un-rigged state. I can be rigged and ready to go in less than 20 minutes.

It would normally be operated from the camera end.
